Harry returns to Hogwarts for start his fifth year of study, but on arrival discovers that much of the wizarding community has been led to believe that the history of the recent meeting between Harry and the evil Lord Voldemort is a lie, questioning the integrity of Harry. Worse is that the Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge, has appointed a new Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher Dolores Umbridge's ambiguous. The course of defensive magic of Professor Umbridge, who has been "approved by the ministry" does not teach young magicians how to defend against the dark arts. Therefore, to the warnings of his friends Hermione and Ron, Harry takes the lead in this matter. He secretly meets with a small group of students calling themselves "Dumbledore's Army" and Harry teaches them how to defend themselves against the Dark Arts, preparing the courageous wizards for the battle that is about to explode.
