The iconic singer Pearl Jam is the author of the soundtrack for the movie Into the Wild, directed by Sean Penn, for which he recorded 11 songs (Setting Forth, No Ceiling, Far Behind, Rise, Long Nights, Toulumne, Hard Sun, Society, The Wolf, End Of The Road and Guaranteed) under the production of Adam Kasper and Vedder himself. All songs are composed by Eddie Vedder dark but two versions: Hard Sun (Gordon Peterson composed and included by the band Indio on the album Big Harvest) and Society (composed by singer-songwriter Jerry Hannan). In Into the Wind, Eddie Vedder has turned his emotion, from haunting ballads to edgier rock, capturing through the music and lyrics compromising the strength of this true story. Eddie Vedder (1964. Illinois, United States) is the lead singer of Pearl Jam, a band formed in Seattle in 1990, the emblem of grunge and has released eight studio albums since he released his first album in 1991. Besides his voice, Vedder has contributed to the band's side of multiintrumentista, some songs playing guitar, drums, ukulele, harmonica, accordion and sitar. He has also collaborated with artists like Bruce Springsteen, U2, Soundgarden, Neil Young, Tom Petty, Beck, REM, Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Rolling Stones, among many others. Now published his first work recorded completely solo.
